The New Digs!

We took ownership of, and moved into our new/used house over the weekend of August 22-24. As you can imagine, we're still not completely settled in, but it's starting to feel like home. You never really realize how much stuff you have until you pack it into boxes, move it, then try to find it again!

Anyhow, the house was built in the late 70's and is right down the street from the house Andy grew up in. It's about 2400 square feet, has an in-ground hot tub in the back yard, and sits on a 33,000sq ft  lot that overlooks Admiral Baker Golf course (close enough to perfection for us).

It had been a rental for the last 8 years, so we've been making countless trips to visit  our good friends at the Home Depot (the current record is 4 in one day). We started by having the acoustic ceilings scraped and re-texturized, and are now in the process of  painting all rooms and ceilings of the house.
