Work in Washington!
During the first week in August, my Regional Manager mentioned that we had a personel issue with our North-West group. At that time, we had four people assigned to the region, and two of them were leaving the project. So, I was on a plane to Seattle the morning of August 11th with plans to be gone for three weeks, then home for a week, then back to the North-West for three more weeks.
I know what you're thinking... There are only 8 weeks between August 11th and the wedding, and I'm scheduled to be gone for six of them. Gotta love the timing! On top of that, we moved into the new house over one of those weekends and spent the one week I was home settling in. Needless to say, Anne had the pleasure of dealing with the brunt of the last minute wedding details and packed the old house without my help. To say that I owe her BIG, would be a serious understatement!!!
Anyhow, I spent the first couple of days in Seattle to get aquainted with the region before I moved on to my home away from home at the luxurious Best Western in Oak Harbor, Washington.
